Q1. Do you sell spores?
A. No, we do not sell spores with our kits. However, we recommend www.premiumspores.com for high-quality spores and excellent customer service. Remember to use code MYND for 10% off your purchase. It is recommended to order your spores before or at the same time as your kit.
Q2. How much spore solution do I need for each kit?
A. Each kit requires one spore syringe, which contains 10ml. For our grain bags, you need 2-3ml per bag. For jars, 2ml per jar is required, and for our Myndspawn substrate bags, 4-5ml should be dispersed throughout different areas of the bag.
Q3. What is a Still Air Box?
A. A Still Air Box is a semi-sterile environment that provides a clean workspace for mushroom cultivation. It helps prevent stray fungal, viral, and bacterial bits from contaminating your work area. Check out our slide on the main page for more information.
Q4. How long does the whole growing process take?
A. The growing process typically takes 4-6 weeks from start to finish. It takes 2 weeks for grain to colonize, and an additional 2 weeks is required once grain is transferred to a bulk substrate before inducing fruiting conditions.
Q5. Is there additional shipping costs to ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico?
A. Yes, shipping to these places outside of the continental US will incur additional shipping charges ranging from $40-$60, depending on your location. These destinations are not included in our free shipping promotion. For any inquiries prior to purchase, please contact our customer support email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q6. Do you ship to PO Boxes?
A. We require a physical address for shipping, but if it is necessary to ship to a P.O. Box, additional shipping charges may apply.

A. Absolutely! We understand that success in mycology is not always guaranteed, so if you are not satisfied with your kit, we offer a 100% money-back policy. All we require is for you to cover the cost of the return within 30 days. Once we receive the kit, we will issue a full refund.
Q9. How do I track my order?
A. All tracking information is automatically generated through our shipping software once your shipping label is printed. You will receive an email with tracking information as soon as it is generated.
Q10. How long does it take to receive my order?
A. All of our kits are handmade, and the grain is hydrated and sterilized to order to ensure freshness. This process can take up to four days, with an additional 4 days for shipping, depending on your location.
